The Apache Software Foundation Announces New Executive Vice President

The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) Board of Directors has selected Jeff Jirsa as Executive Vice President, ASF Board of Directors. Jirsa succeeds David Nalley, who served as Executive Vice President following his four-year tenure as President of the ASF.

Jirsa’s work at the ASF includes many years as a committer and PMC member of the Cassandra project, as well as serving as a director on the ASF board in 2024-25. As the Foundations new EVP he hopes to help the ASF adapt to a changing tech landscape.

The ASF thanks David Nalley for his service as President, EVP, and VP, Infrastructure.
