We are excited to announce that the call for presentations for Community Over Code NA is now extended two more weeks! Submit proposals by 23:59 UTC on April 15, 2024.
Community Over Code NA will be held in Denver, Colorado October 7-10, 2024 and feature four in-person days of sessions at the Grand Hyatt Denver. Community Over Code is the ASF’s flagship event that aims to unify ASF projects and their communities while exploring topics such as big data, financial tech, geospatial, IoT, search and many others. Each evening will also feature Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions, giving ASF communities an opportunity for free-form discussion and planning.
Now until April 15, we are accepting presentation proposals for any topic that is related to the ASF mission of producing free software for the public good. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Big Data (compute and storage)
- Cassandra
- Community
- Data engineering
- Developer experience
- Fintech
- Geospatial and remote sensing
- Groovy
- Incubator
- Infrastructure
- Internet of Things
- Performance engineering
- Runtime and cloud
- Search

- Tomcat, HTTPd, and other servers

Travel Assistance
The ASF Travel Assistance Committee (TAC) provides financial aid to members of the open source community who are interested in attending a Community Over Code event but face financial hardships that make attending difficult or impossible.
